So there are two issues here the emojis are not dispalying correctly and its crsahing the app. Lasty, the reason for 4 stars! I have run into a really nasty bug that casues the app to crash! If you attemtp to use emoji in the annotation text boxes the emoji will appear inverted in color the app will hang and then immediately crash.

Now fixing a software bug is not an overnight job but they really do a good job at keeping the app upto date and listening to cusomer feedback which is great! Though the great thing is this company is very responsive and really put in the time to resolve issues. Now I have used a ton of different video recording and editing apps in the last 10 years and I can say this is most definitely top grade software! yes there are a few bugs here and there which is to be expected with any software. Though, Id much rather have this from the app Store so its in my account for safe keeping.
